This hilarious, internationally-acclaimed, one-woman tour de force explores the powerful, unpredictable grasp of dreams. This show is presented in the Downstairs Theater. Tickets include admission to the Worlds of Puppetry Museum, and the beer and wine bar will be open one hour before showtime. No intermission.

June 23: The Puppeteer, the Object, and the Secret in Between: A Master Class with Yael Rasooly. In this short intensive, Yael Rasooly invites participants on a playful and inventive journey into the universe of Object Theater-- and into the process of creation itself! Participants will use their bodies and voices to explore the dialogue and relationship between performer and “ready-made” objects, discovering how those objects are filled with symbolism, emotion, memory and story. Tools for working collaboratively and for working alone will be shared, as participants enjoy both fun group exercises/improvisations AND discussions around individual solo creation (a starting point for the development of future work). This Master Class will celebrate techniques that encourage artists to pass through artistic blockage by working quickly, sensitively, and with heightened joy. By application only. Applications due June 8.
June 24: Click, Clack, Moo: A Sensory Friendly Performance. Performance alterations include theater lights dimmed down but not out, consistent sound levels and lower volume of show soundtrack, freedom for children to talk and to leave their seat if necessary, a quiet zone in the lobby, and permission to bring quiet, contained snacks and beverages. Create-A-Puppet Workshop classrooms will be brighter, quieter, and feature less-messy puppet building materials and slightly simplified puppet designs. This modified programming also extends to include our expanded Museum, where lighting will be adjusted and specialized educational activities (such as touch tables and guided storytelling) will be integrated. Fidget toys and sound-reducing headphones will also be available. Click here to learn more about our sensory-friendly programming.
