Toddler Tuesdays: Museum in Motion

First Tuesday of Every Month  10am & 11:30am

Come play with us and enjoy a different theme the first Tuesday of every month! Toddlers sing, move, and play with programming developed to encourage creativity and celebrate your mini-puppeteer-in-training. Each program features puppet-led storytelling, songs, movement, a developmentally-appropriate craft, and a hands-on toddler tour in our Worlds of Puppetry Museum. 

Book now! Capacity is limited to 25 for each time period.

 All adults and children ages 2 and up must have a ticket.

Theme of the Day: Robots and Shapes

Location: World of Puppetry Museum Entrance

10:00am, 11:30am | Duration 1 hour

ACTIVITIES:

Tale Time
Eating vegetables can sometimes be a chore but see how one boy solves the problem in If I Had a Robot by Dan Yaccarino. Then, learn about all of the different kinds of robots found everywhere in Robots, Robots Everywhere by Sue Fliess. 

   

Puppeteer-Fit
Move like a robot and then play a robot bean bag toss game.

Toddler Trek
Join us as we celebrate new puppets in the gallery and learn about robots and shapes. Focus on your toddlers’ puzzle and shape skills and join us in playing our robot shape matching game. Then, help us identify different robot parts and create different robot designs in a create-a-robot activity.
