Education Fund

Our education program brings the world of puppetry to over 50,000 children and adults each year through hands-on workshops, and we reach even more people through various camps, distance learning and outreach activities. Each year, the Center offers over 180,000 free or greatly subsidized tickets to underserved Georgians throughout the state. Your contribution to this fund provides supplies for kids of all ages to make their own works of art in our Create-A-Puppet Workshops, and lets us continue to offer enriching programs to young and old alike.

Museum Fund

PUPPETS: THE POWER OF WONDER is the Center's permanent exhibit, featuring hundreds of puppets from around the globe and down through the ages. Our collection includes books, videos and posters, and when you contribute to this fund you help preserve these treasures for generations to enjoy.

Historic Building Fund

Your donation to this fund will preserve our home, the historic Spring Street Elementary School, and help us keep the laughter and cheer alive in the same hallways where former Mayor Ivan Allen and the children of Martin Luther King, Jr. once walked.

Name-A-Seat Fund

Make your mark on the Center and show the world your generosity. For a donation of only $250, an engraved plaque in honor of you or a loved one will be placed on a seat in our Mainstage Theater.

Museum Donations
The Center for Puppetry Arts Museum generally accepts donations of puppets only if it intends to accession them into its collections. The Museum must be very selective out of necessity to ensure that objects acquired are appropriate to the collection's mission statement and can be properly cared for and displayed. A sub-committee formed from our Museum Advisory board will be the deciding factor in accepting Museum pieces. Fractional interest in an object, whereby the donor retains a percentage of ownership, is not acceptable. Both the donor and an authorized representative of the Center must sign a deed of gift for transferring full ownership of the item(s) to the Center. There are numerous considerations for both donors and the museum in arranging a gift.

All inquiries regarding gifts to Center for Puppetry Arts are completely confidential. For further information about donating gifts or bequests of objects, please contact the Museum Manager at 404.881.5130.
