DATES (Tuesdays): October 7, 14, 21
• 10:00am -- From Story to Stage: Enjoy an interactive storytelling/puppetry experience featuring a Jataka tale from India and a Chinese dragon story.
• 10:45am -- Puppet Creation Station: Build and perform with your own Chinese Dragon shadow puppet and celebrate diverse shadow puppetry traditions across Asia.
• 11:30am -- Discovery Cart: Experience, hands-on, the “high art” that is the ancient Bunraku puppetry of Japan and the “folk art” that is the Kathputli puppetry of Rajasthan.
• 12:15pm -- Discovery Trek: Take an expedition through the Center’s collection of puppets from Asia, and learn how to train to be “puppeteer-fit” along the way.
AGES: Discovery Day activities are appropriate for all ages and will be adapted to accommodate all age level of those in attendance on a given day.
PRICING: Tickets include entry into all of the Discovery Day activities as well as the Center’s Museum Exhibits.
Come for one, come for all! Admission to Museum exhibits included.

To book a ticket: buy online at http://ticketsales.puppet.org/ or call the Ticket Sales Office at 404-873-3391. Walk-up purchase is also allowed. Due to the intimate nature of these activities, attendance at these activities is limited to 50 patrons and is subject to availability.
Late seating is permitted up to 15 minutes into the programming; after 16 minutes, patrons should be directed to view the Museum exhibits until the start time of the next activity. No entry to Discovery Days after 12:30pm; instead, patrons should be directed to a self-guided Museum tour.
