Guidelines for important information on how to make a group reservation,
points to keep in mind when calling to reserve tickets, and guidelines
to help us ensure that your visit is fun, safe and stress-free.
All three areas of programming at the Center for Puppetry Arts (performance,
puppet-making workshops and Museum) meet Georgia Performance Standards. Completing your
field trip rationale form is easy.
The Center's family shows are recommended for ages 4 and up, but are open
to all ages. Educator Resource Guides
are available for download for each Family Series performance during the
school year at no charge. The New Directions Series shows are not recommended
for all ages. See each show description for details.
The Center provides a wide variety of hands on activities for all age
groups. Create-A-Puppet Workshops allow your group to make a puppet to
take home. Puppet designs correlate with the current show theme.
Our permanent Museum exhibit features over 350 puppets from around the
world that will delight and educate your students. Museum tours correlate
with the show theme and include all Special Exhibits.

Sunday 11am - 5pm. Extended hours during evening performances.

for out-of-state groups. ALL groups from any other state must pay sales tax.
Organizations who are exempt from paying Georgia State Sales Tax must provide
a letter from the Dept. of Revenue Sales and U.S. Tax Division certifying
tax exemption. Orders not accompanied by this tax-exempt letter will be
returned for complete payment. Group rates are valid for groups of 10 or

This season we are very happy to announce that several of our shows will
be featuring GA Title 1 school field trip dates. The Title 1 field trip
rates will be featured in the first 4 weeks of each production. Each of the Family Series performances will allow certified GA
Title 1 schools to purchase show-only group tickets at $5.25 per person
instead of the traditional $6.75. Each of the Teen & Adult Series performances will allow certified GA Title 1 schools to purchase show-only group tickets at $8.00 per person instead of the traditional $11.11. These shows do fit into Georgia Performance
Standards so please look over our different Title 1 field trip dates below
and give us a call at 404.873.3391 to set up a field trip.
The Center for Puppetry Arts is proud to offer the Title 1 rate through
the generous donations of our sponsors. These performances are produced
at the Center for Puppetry Arts by our award-winning Center company.

(regular price $16.50) on select dates. Includes Performance, Create-A-Puppet
Workshop, and Museum admission!

FREE Educator Resource Guides are available for many of our performances and are designed to enhance student
learning before and after their visit to the Center. They include a sample
