Miss Piggy appeared as Scarlett in the 1981 television special "The Muppets Go to the Movies". Kermit and Miss Piggy came in full costume to the 1982 exhibtion opening of "The Art of the Muppets" at the Center for Puppetry Arts. Jim Henson's versatile thespains have performed many roles over the years, on television and film as well as in print. A series of calendars featured them in vignettes derived from classic Hollywood movies, while parodies have featured Kermit as Bruce Springsteen and Thomas Gainsborough's masterpiece "Green Boy". |
