Jim Henson won an Emmy for Best Direction in a variety or music program
for his work on Dog City, a Depression-era story of gangsters and
heroes set in a city populated by dogs. Originally airing as part of The
Jim Henson Hour, the "Dog City" special then spun off into
the animated series, Jim Henson's Dog City.
