Beer & Wine Cash Bar: Thursday-Saturday! The Ghastly Dreadfuls are back from the great beyond to perform their haunting tales and macabre music once more for your entertainment and edification. Whether you are seeing them for the first time, or just reliving the morbid splendor of last season, you're sure to find yourself enchanted. There's Simply, Darkly, Daftly, Dizzily, Dapperly, Tartly and Catly Dreadful, and each has a story to tell. In a unique blend of puppetry styles, set designs and musical renderings, the Ghastly Dreadfuls bring the art of Halloween storytelling back to life. Learn More About our Guest Dreadfuls... The Atlanta Ghost Hunters, formerly the Henry County Ghost Hunters, are first and foremost skeptics. They are not in this business to fabricate paranormal activity. Infact, they never charge to investigate a home or building for paranormal activity or EVPs (electronic voice phenomenon). For more information on the Atlanta Ghost Hunters, click here. Atlanta Horror Fest is proud to bring you a four day festival of independent horror films, bands, and special events. The festival will be kicked off on Thursday, October 4th and stretch until Sunday, October 7th. Featuring four nights of over 20 bands at Lennys Bar and the Earl, also four nights of movies at The Highland Inn and the Earl. On the Saturday of the festival at around noon we kick off the second annual Zombie Walk Atlanta from Lenny's Bar, to Oakland Cemetery, and to Underground Atlanta! The Atlanta Rollergirls roller derby league recently finished their third season of providing sports entertainment to thousands of fans. Founded in 2004, and more than seventy women strong, the skaters range in age from 21 to 40-something. We strive for an audience-friendly mix of sport and spectable, but our competitions are not staged, the outcomes are not fixed, and or falls and spills are the real deal. Our flat-track all-female (skater owned and operated) quad-skate league is part of the D.I.Y. roller derby revival and revolution wreaking havoc around the country. Click here for more information. Now in its second year, Dames Aflame's "Showbz What Sizzles" is Atlanta's longest running neo-burlesque production. With a cast and crew of more than 20 professional performers and artists, this 90-minute adults-only show features singing, dancing, comedy and striptease that repeatedly puts the "wow" in "wowee wow wow!" A real hotsy-totsy and how! Show times are 8pm and 10:30pm on the following dates: October 19, November 16, December 21, at Laughing Skull Lounge inside the Vortex Midtown. Tickets are available now at TicketAlternative.com. For more info on Dames Aflame, click here. Ghost Hounds Paranormal Investigators Network is dedicated to the study of paranormal / supernatural phenomena. The investigative unit, founded by Patrick Lynn Burns in August of 2001, studies phenomena deemed to be of a "paranormal" nature in a scientific and unbiased manner. They do not strive to prove the existence (or non existence) of ghosts, as most believe the mystery is beyond the capabilities of present understanding and technology to prove one way OR the other. Rather we simply strive to collect evidence, study these phenomena and let everyone draw their own conclusions. For more information on Ghost Hounds, click here.
