Stellaluna  by Tears of Joy Theatre, Portland, OR 2008-09 Family Series Poor Stellaluna. She is a baby fruit bat who loses her way only to find herself in a nest full of baby birds. Stellaluna tries to adapt to her new environment, but everything is so different! She likes to hang upside down but the birds like to cuddle in their nest. She likes to play with little worms and the birds actually eat them. Imagine her relief when she finally learns she is really a bat! Based on the book by Janell Cannon, this show tells a timeless story about trying to fit in and eventually finding your true self.
