Adapted from the book by British author Roald Dahl (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Fantastic Mr. Fox), this adventure-fantasy film is scary, funny, and wildly entertaining. Luke, a recently orphaned young boy, is staying with his grandmother at a posh hotel, but a secret coven of witches has also gathered in the hotel. The Grand High Witch (Anjelica Huston) has decreed that all children in England be turned into mice, and Luke and his pal Bruno are the first victims on the list.
